Club Events Results: 2023

The organiser of the Club events for 2023 was our Club Secretary, Richard Hoskin, supported by Malcolm Pearson, John Allen and Clive Walton as time keeper. Sadly this will no doubt be the last season the Club runs any cycle racing events, due to declining entries and a very poor support from club members due to various reasons.

We only planned to have two Club events this year and fortunately managed to run both. The 10 on 7th June had 6 entries (one Redmon rider – Peter Horsfield), but for the last event on 21 June we were overwhelmed with a full field of 30 riders as a result of the planned course for Dorking/Norwood Paragon Interclub event being unusable. Peter was again the only Redmon entry, and bettered his time at the previous event by over a minute – well done Peter!
